Tim Foley, PE
Civil Engineer
Mr. Foley has more than 16 years of civil engineering experience on varying projects from the pre-design site selection process through construction management and final project acceptance. His civil engineering projects include various commercial, municipal, and residential projects in the Carolinas.
Mr. Foley focuses on a strong communication link with his clients, staff and governing agencies. In the past few years Mr. Foley was personally responsible for 363 lot subdivision that was planned and built on a historically sensitive 247 acre site. He was responsible for coordinating with the State of North Carolina in preserving the historical significance of the site while still providing a profitable development for the owner. This development included over 5 miles of street designed and permitted with the State of North Carolina. He also was responsible for the planning, design and permitting of a 17 acre site that included 133,250 s.f. of retail in South Carolina. The project included coordination of design with the national retailers, Kohl’s and Hobby Lobby.
Early in Mr. Foley’s career he was employed at a Geotechnical Engineering firm. This experience in “field” conditions offers Mr. Foley a better understanding of some of the issues that owners and contractors experience during the construction process. This ability along with strong communication gives Mr. Foley great tools in finding positive solutions for today’s construction and complex permitting processes.
Mr. Foley is a 1993 graduate of Virginia Tech. He is married to Traci Foley and has one son, Gage, and one daughter, Olivia. In his spare time he is involved with his kid’s activities because he believes in a strong family foundation for life’s successes.
